The Deputy Mayor of Bethlehem meets the Chairman of the Hallam Bethlehem Fund to discuss ways of joint cooperation

The Deputy Mayor of Bethlehem Mr. Hanna Hanania welcomed the chairman of Hallam Bethlehem Fund Mr. Joe McNally and Mrs McNally from Sheffield/ Britain along with Mrs. Laila Asfoura. Hanania applauded the role of Hallam Bethlehem Fund in supporting St. Martha's house, which provides a dignified life for the elderly of Bethlehem who have no breadwinner, and provides them a place for social and recreational leisure, plus providing activities that support their psychological welfare.

From his part, McNally thanked Hanania for welcoming him in Bethlehem Municipality, and expressed the continuous interest of the Hallam Bethlehem Fund to provide assistance to Bethlehem and its people through developing new projects in the sector of health and others.

He also raised the desire of initiating twinning agreement between Bethlehem and Sheffield, and thus be the first city in Britain to establish a twinning agreement with Bethlehem.
